headcovering

I Cornithians 11:3-16 KJV
1co 11:3
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
1co 11:4
Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
1co 11:5
But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
1co 11:6
For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
1co 11:7
For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
1co 11:8
For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
1co 11:9
Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
1co 11:10
For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
1co 11:11
Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
1co 11:12
For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
1co 11:13
Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
1co 11:14
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
1co 11:15
But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
1co 11:16
But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
The scripture speaks for itself. Jesus wants me to make the following points:
Verses 5 and 6 are very clear.
Verse 11 "because of the angels". To me means the angelic culture which is heavenly not earthly.
Verse 13 is a rhetorical question with the answer in the yes.
In verses 4, 5, 6, and 7 the Greek word for covering is the same word. In verse 15 the Greek word for covering is a different word. I will try and find these words and post it.
Pray ladies and gentleman.
I know most churches of Christ today feel this was only for the 1st century. I see nothing in the Scripture to indicate that.
Almost all churches of Christ today follow the 2nd half of I Corn. about the LORD'S Supper. Why not follow the first part as well?
God's will be done.

breakfast

Sometimes people don't realize that God really can give us food without price and redeem our things back from the evil one. And buy without money. It is a great thing and a real privilege for our LORD to do these things for us. For example, at breakfast my husband Tom usually eats a "free" breakfast.
A few days ago Tom had a piece of toast from bread we were given. He ate canned applesauce we were given. He had pork sausage we'd been given. He ate eggs with cheese on them we'd been given. All I bought for that meal was coffee, cream, and cinnamon. He had cinnamon sugar on his toast with sugar we'd been given.
If Christian people had enough faith and REALLY trusted Christ, He could, and would provide us all the necessities of abundant life.
See Philippians 4:19:
"But my GOD shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
Think about it. Pray about it. Maybe EVEN ask the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY for more ability to TRUST Jesus. But IF YOU DO, don't be surprised at what HE puts you through in order to really learn HOW to trust HIM.
